The Experiment!

I was inspired by Ralph Waldo Emerson's quote "All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make, the better".

My experiment.

I have written a letter inviting people to share their stories with me, and in doing that I will base a book/play on the interaction. I have gone through the white pages and randomly selected 26 people (a person for each letter of the alphabet). To them I have addressed a letter requesting their interaction and involvement in my experiment. Your feedback about my experiment would be appreciated!

Here is the letter:

Who are you?
Who are you without your career?
Who are you without your partner?
Who are you without your children?
Who are you without your parents?
Who are you?

I ask these questions because these are questions I ask myself. I am interested in who you are. What is your story?

I am writing a book, and would love to have people share with me their insights to life and insights into themselves. I truly believe that everyone has a story, and that everyone’s story is real. I would love to know yours.

I ask for no money and I will pay you no money. I ask for your time, and I will give you my time. I ask that you be open and I will be open.
